Chip Ashby, CEO
Before founding ACRE Development Partners in 2020, Chip developed extensive experience observing market opportunities and trends on Wall Street with Spear Leeds & Kellogg, Merrill Lynch and Cantor Fitzgerald firm as a key player in rebuilding the firm after 9/11. Throughout his career, he has advised respected investors on market risk and unique investment opportunities.
Chip’s previous experience of observing market trends and his vision toward targeted real estate developments in prime locations serve as key drivers to the strategy and success of ACRE Development Partners.

Art Kennedy, Partner
Art Kennedy brings 34 years of design, construction, and development experience to ACRE Development Partners and holds a B.A. in Architecture from the University of Oklahoma.
Prior to joining the team, Art has represented global private equity groups as a development oversight officer on numerous projects across Texas, California, Arizona, New Mexico and Oklahoma. His previous projects include over 41,000 Class-A market-rate multifamily units, senior family housing, hotel, hospitality and resort, four million square feet of industrial warehouse and distribution centers, and commercial Class-A office build-to-suit.
Art also oversaw a class-A commercial office portfolio of 11 million square feet and managed a staff of 14 to facilitate all building modifications, tenant improvements and land entitlements in Northern and Southern California for the Portfolio.

Chad Hensley, Partner
Chad brings more than 10 years of real estate finance, analysis, and build-for-rent (BFR) experience to ACRE Development Partners, having previously worked on the private equity side and most recently in the single-family rental consulting space. He is responsible for the sourcing, development and implementation of short- and long-term strategies to ensure ACRE’s growth and overall investor return.
Chad also brings experience with price and absorption analyses and lease-up strategies, as well as extensive supplemental analyses of macroeconomic and demographic data and forecasts. Chad earned a B.B.A. from Texas Tech University and an M.S. in Finance from Mays Business School, Texas A&M.
